Medley Minute with Fr Sam: What do those words mean, "They will run and not grow weary, walk and not grow faint" (Is 40:31)? Well, for me: my job holds a terrifying stress at times that seems almost surreal. Yet, God shows up. He carries not my burden, but carries me, as I carry it. And then even though I am weighted down and crushed, I am mightily supported. So I run yet there is a mysterious strength that buoys up my spirit that God mightily inspires within me. Also I realize that although stress and burden and toil may oppress me, the act of trust in God at that moment is an act of redemption, of spiritual warfare, and yes, victory. #GodAloneIsMyStrength #HeIsMyRefuge
