Some people think it word be very hard to keep quiet in a weekend, but when you get directed to think and pray about the most important things in life, like life’s meaning, your death, judgment, resurrection, how to live better, love your family better, and to be full alive and be holy, it easy to keep focus. THE COST OF LIBERTY I’m praying and sacrificing for the ladies I’m serving now on silent retreat. Different little things are going wrong or breaking, and all these I offer for their souls and for the whole Church. Then there was suddenly a huge leak in the ceiling and a tile became soaked through. I went to loose it and half by body and my religious habit got soaked with water from above. Thanks be to a God no retreatants were around. I told someone: “I feel like the building just peed on me! I smell somehow like old man smell.” Then minutes later I found out that it was actually caused by a leaking toilette a floor above. This was minutes before I had to step into the confessional for two hours. The whole time in confessional I offered this up for souls, for souls, for souls!!! #StillSmiling #SweetSmellingSacrifice #RejoiceUnderTrial #OfferItUp #RomansTwelveOne

Christian prayer is to gaze upon the Face of Christ, who is the Image of the unseen God. If you do so, the image of God is formed in you, in “a new spiritual way of thinking” and loving. If you constantly gaze upon the face and image of the world through excessive tv, netfixing or social media consumption, the image of the world and its corrupt and bitter way of thinking is impressed upon you. In my experience, you will turn one off and tune in to the other. Pray fervently to make the right decision and to fiercely guard your time of prayer.

All of these are incomplete projects, including me. I looked around today and saw that our chapel was half power washed, our brick dome was not yet finished, and many other things are progressing. Then I saw my own journey toward health and weight loss, I even looked inward and saw in myself the same incomplete growth in virtue, prayer, love, and service.
