Today I am utterly overwhelmed with a Christmas reflection that refuses to leave my mind. I am consumed with gratitude that God chooses, like the conditions of Bethlehem of old, the darkness, coldness, rejection, the very cave of my heart in which to be born. He delights to be born in my nothingness that he may be all in me! I am spending the day interceding for each person God has ever or ever will entrust to me as their priest, begging God to be born into the caves and caverns of their hearts, families, and nations. #Emmanuel #GodWithUs #EtVerbumCaroFactumEst
