Today I am utterly overwhelmed with a Christmas reflection that refuses to leave my mind. I am consumed with gratitude that God chooses, like the conditions of Bethlehem of old, the darkness, coldness, rejection, the very cave of my heart in which to be born. He delights to be born in my nothingness that he may be all in me!
