At first I thought that I would have liked to be there when St Paul, shortly after being stoned and left for dead, crawled back into the city, no doubt full of bruises, bleeding, and crushed bones, cried out "It is necessary for us to undergo many hardships to enter the Kingdom of God.” Then I realized this is the way Christians are at there best. When they radiate the Peace of Christ, not as the world gives or understands, but truly a lasting unexplainable peace amidst all bruises and afflictions. These are the only believable and authentic followers of Christ. You'll meet them amidst the crowds and mockery of this world. They are those who truly know real love, sacrifice, and glory, clothed as it is oftentimes in blood, sweat, and tears.
