Medley Minute with Fr Sam: They are brokers of hope, agents of mercy, a few kindred spirits, who like friends of the paralytic who brought him to Jesus, bring souls to the Sacrament of Confession who are either paralyzed by fear of judgment or rendered emotionally immobile. Many times I have arranged meetings at places like this, in the shadow of the shrine of the Basilica, to bring people back to the Lord. Let us pray in this year of Mercy for an increase of trust in God's forgiveness. Jesus I trust in You.
