Medley Minute with Fr Sam: The Virgin Mary is the door through which God descended to us. First, as a baby in her womb, then lived a life like us in all things but sin. Here in Bicol, where we know her simply as "Ina," or Mother, the door of mercy opened by the Archbishop for the Great Jubilee Year of Mercy declared by Pope Francis, is called Porta Mariæ, door of Mary. Walking through Mary God became man that walking that same path we might become like God.
