As a bird was flying through the sanctuary and many gathering outside, I gave a homily on how you need to have a birdwatching course to recognize a bird, the same way you need Jesus in the Eucharist to recognize God in daily life, in the poor, in prayer, in your neighbor/family. Then I come home, miles away from the church, and there, trapped in my room, is the same kind of bird I saw minutes before. What is God trying to tell me? Comments please....
