A Roman Catholic Priest Shares a Moment

God isn’t finished. We are always under construction. Just take one step today toward him. Thank God for what is done, don’t be saddened by what is not yet accomplished.

I am wondering if this my favorite place on the face of the earth? I used to spend hours of my life at the foot of this dock. #Serenity #Peace #PacemInTerris #GodsCountry #LoonsCalling #Sunset #Minnesota #SouthHaven #LakeAugusta

Headed to Minnesota for a few days with my old room mate in seminary. Just as he shared his family with me in the Philippines 🇵🇭, now I can share mine in America 🇺🇸.

A psalm for the joy of priestly fraternity: How good and how pleasant it is, when brothers live in unity! It is like precious oil upon the head, running down upon the beard, running down upon Aaron’s beard, upon the collar of his robes;

On the eve of my 10th priestly anniversary my heart joyfully bursts 4 words: I love you - to God and his beloved people. I’m sorry - for all that evil in this world and in humanity. I wish I could make up for it all by offering the sacrifice of my life joined to the Eucharistic Sacrifice of Calvary. Please forgive me - for my sins and shortcomings. Thank you - to the Most Holy Trinity and his Holy Church, for the inexpressible gift of being a priest and being espoused and consecrated to serve as Jesus serves. Mary Mother of Jesus, Mother of all priests, be a Mother to me now.

Wear the Brown Scapular. Love the Mother of God for she mightily cares and prays for you. Our Lady of Mt Carmel, pray for us!

Please stop and say a prayer of gratitude for Sr Maria Laudem Gloriæ, who made perpetual vows today of chastity, poverty, obedience in SOLT for the glory of God and salvation of mankind.

All of these are incomplete projects, including me. I looked around today and saw that our chapel was half power washed, our brick dome was not yet finished, and many other things are progressing. Then I saw my own journey toward health and weight loss, I even looked inward and saw in myself the same incomplete growth in virtue, prayer, love, and service. Please don’t curse or blame what is unfinished around you or in you, but rejoice to be on the journey. Be grateful for what God had built not upset about what hasn’t happened yet. #patience #priestfit #GodsPlan #WorkInProgress #UnderConstruction #LightACandleDontCursetheDarkness
