Just as Jesus chose to heal the many thousands of smaller wounds on his body but transformed the larger wounds, so it is with us. Our deepest misery and wound, God doesn't heal but transforms, and is the greatest union we can have with God through his mercy. It also where compassion flows to others. Gifting these wounds to God is the tenderest experience of love and a taste of Heaven.
